For fun, I thought I'd explain my lj name: Amakarie. It looks japanese, but it's really gibberish. Unless you change it around to amakara, which means "sweet and sour."

As you may or may not know, I am a big fat Rurouni Kenshin fan. I've liked it since middle school. I can remember reading text translations of the manga in Keyboarding class.
I liked the sound of Kenshin's ultimate move:

Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki

However, that doesn't sound like a name, so I changed it.
Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki

Amakarai was my first choice, but I changed the last syllable to make it more english-pronunciation friendly:)
